It's a good game but yeah it does have its problems. As for the good things, the reviewer forgot to mention that the cars sound absolutely fabulous in third-person view. I have never heard of better-sounding four cylinder engines in any other game. It doesn't stop there, because the inline 6 of the BMW 1 series M coupe is also amazing as is the V8 of the Z4 GT3. Unfortunately, driving around in third-person view constantly is a good way to stuff up many corners. as for the bad things, I hope they can add to the car variety soon. There's a good variety of classes, but I mean there's only like two Group 5 cars and three Group A cars - the three of which are in the <2,500cc class so that means no R32 Skyline GT-R or Commodore SS Group A. I don't reckon the AI is as stupid as the reviewer makes them out to be (they are actually quite good) but it's irritating in that they never seem to suffer from poor grip on cold tyres or their lap times aren't affected in the rain. Probably the worst thing of all though is your team member who gives you advice in the race only ever really tells you 'COVER THAT INSIDE LINE'. [editline]20th May 2015[/editline] I really do like though how the game makes me feel okay with settling for less than first place. In any other racing game I'd always restart until I could finish in first, but because most races in this are in championships over several races I haven't felt the urgency to finish in first in every race. Hell, I was able to come second in the Renault Clio Cup without winning a single race lol.

[B]Hell, I was able to come second in the Renault Clio Cup without winning a single race lol.[/B][/QUOTE] shows how inconsistent and poor the AI is, whoever won the first race should have a decent chance of winning the next one but for me and for every other example I've seen there's no consistency between events driver A could qualy and finish last one race, then qualify first and finish first the next race meanwhile driver B who won the first race will finish at the back of the pack. the AI doesn't retain a certain skill level, they're just names on a time sheet with random performance [editline]20th May 2015[/editline] also the ginetta junior / gt5 class should've come before the clio cup in career progression, that's how it works in real life (i almost broke into ginetta juniors when i was younger but we didn't have the money/nobody would sponsor us) [editline]20th May 2015[/editline] it's a fun game to play if you're not looking for 110% ridiculous hardcore simulation, i've put a lot of hours into it and enjoyed the majority of it but it definitely needs improving. hopefully we'll see patches and whatnot before they move on to pcars 2
the game just feels off. its nice and all but the overall feeling of the game is nowhere near perfected
