OCD Things you do in video games - General

Post the things you do in video games that you think nobody else does because you're batshit insane. In both force unleashed games, when you have to force push a door open, I reclose it after me so that the bad guys can't follow me :tinfoil:

Crouch down when I reload my gun.

Jumping up and down when travelling long distances.

I want to see the whole level. Every bit of it.

"Save" ammo for the better guns and then end up never using them.

My stacks in Minecraft have to be nice, even numbers :ohdear:

TES: Morrowind... Couldn't just drop things in dungeons when I got over encumbered. No sir, that wouldn't be tidy. Must pick entire dungeon clean, making up to 10 trips to do so.

Even numbers in EVERYTHING.

Save ammo for my favorite gun until I use some other gun so much it becomes my favorite then I start saving ammo for it. Related: Saving ammo for super-powerful weapons(RPGs, .357 in Half Life) and then ending up almost never using them by the time the game is over.

If I do a full rotation one way, I HAVE to do a full rotation the other way to cancel it. If I die before I get a chance, I would probably weep and rock in a corner for days on end :ohdear:

Brake at the last possible second on every corner. If there is a game with a shotgun, and a double barreled shotgun (Like Doom, or Serious Sam), i will always use the single barrel shotgun.

Hoarding items :ohdear: I find it really hard to drop items lol

Whenever I cut someone's limb off I make sure every part of their body is also cut off. I also drag their bodies into bathtubs or other places whenever I can.

I try keeping myself from bunny hopping in a lot of valve games but I can't help it.

Killing the people I steal cars from in GTA:VC. The person needs to die, or else my day is ruined..

In Amnesia if I go into any room I will barricade the door as best I can, even if nothing's following me. Oh and in Oblivion I hate having unfinished quests in my quest menu, so I'll complete them (in order) no matter how small.

In HL2 in the beginning i make sure to put a cactus in the carpet where Kleiner likes to stay, in the next chapter i break all the windows where there's that crying couple and the Breen TV by throwing props at the windows. In Dark Messiah i throw bodies at fire whenever i can. Also i reload all the time.

Oh, i got 98/120 rounds? *Boom, boom, boom* There we go. A nice even amo- wait, it's got to be a round ten. *5 x boom* Niiiiice. Hmm, 90 sounds bad. Let's try 50. Nah, 50 is only half of 100. I always wind up wasting my ammunition and then go whacking Striders with a crowbar. One thing i find myself doing in Killing Floor is sniping things with a SCAR: Semi-auto and then just carefully aim. If i miss the shot and kill it otherwise, i get pissed off and go fully auto on a horde just because i failed that one headshot. Also, if i take one hit and my armor drops to 99%, i have to go buy more armor or look for one. I fucking can't stand it. Thank god KF shows your ammo as clips, not rounds. I don't use shotguns.

Restarting whenever I don't finish off a boss awesomely (think stealth assassinations in AC2 etc.)

When I have a fully automatic gun I constantly fire a single shot and reload. I always aim down the sight when I use a shotgun. ALWAYS. Also I always need to 100% a game.

Sometimes I think, "Oh, I can just melee through all of this, so I can save some ammo." Then of course I die and have to do it all over again.

I always "take a leak" on any flushable toilet in HL2 and episodes. That guy goes for days without food or sleep, the least I can do is make sure he doesn't piss himself.

Sometimes i have to do a perfect run, like in Resident Evil 5 i keep playing the same level again and again until i get S from all categories.

In Amnesia I closed every single door behind me. I didn't want to be rude and let in a draft

In Age of Empires, I have to have an even number of units in a group, if there's one extra, I kill him.
