I'm really short on money at the moment. So I can't afford getting a new LGA 1155 motherboard plus proccesor. So I'm planing to stay with my Intel Duo Quad.
I'm looking for a good LGA 775 ATX motherboard under 100$ that supports at least 8GB DDR3 Ram.
Is your current motherboard broken? Just getting a new mobo doesnt speed up anything.
And what CPU do you have.

It's not broken. It's just that my current one is small and that the PCIe ports are right across from the SATA ports and installing the big GPUs makes it a pain. I have a Intel Duo Quad @2.83 Q9950
its a waste of money buying anything lga 775 really. Its a dead socket.
If you insist on staying with 775 for the time being, get a used board as getting new would be pointless. You could probably find something for like $50.
Plenty of small business (at least where I live) sell preowned 775 mobo's for just $10-$50. I'd go to the local computer shop and ask if they have preowned ones.
Buying a new 775 mobo is a big waste of money, unless it's broken and you're an impatient person.
Best you can do is save up the money to buy a modern mobo+cpu.
LGA 775 is beyond dead. It's replacements replacement has been replaced.
I see. I'm planning to purchase this CPU:

with this motherboard:

This a good combo? The total price is around 280$
If the purpose is gaming, you should stick with intel

If you're willing to push the 280$ mark a little bit, this one's even better

Intel's processors are superior to AMD's and use less power so there's no reason not to get them unless you spend all your time compiling, rendering, encoding, etc
Definitely get the 4670 or 4670k if overclocking. It's worth the very small amount extra.
