I am wondering what to get with my christmas money. Should I get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102858&cm_re=hd_5770-_-14-102-858-_-Product or this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001338&cm_re=24_lcd_monitor-_-24-001-338-_-Product By the way, I have an hd 4650 in my computer right now. It is kinda bottlenecking my 6gbs of ram and phenom II X4. I have 2 19 inch monitors right now.
An HD 5770 is cheaper AND better... [editline]03:24PM[/editline] http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102864&cm_re=hd_5770-_-14-102-864-_-Product
How about this 5770? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102858&cm_re=hd_5770-_-14-102-858-_-Product Same price, but it looks like it's got the best reviews. I have a HAF 922 so it will fit.
go for it

What is your current monitor size? If you're playing all the games you own now at high FPS and don't really lag I don't see the requirement to get a new graphics card
Well, depends on your current monitor size. If you are running a 15 inch or lower, get the monitor. Anything else, go the the video card.
I went from a 15" to double 24" and you won't regret getting a single 24" at all. When I first got mine my eyes killed from having to run around the screen looking for a small icon
I got both recently, I'd probably say get the 4870 based on the screens you have now.
