then go to newegg and put all the same hardware in a shopping cart

Alienware is not shit, it's overpriced yes, but they are amazing computers. I had one before and absolutely loved it. The inside looked like a jet engine. Overpriced yes, awesome yes.

I had one. It came with a broken GPU. I sent it back. And they sent me other broken GPU. So I sent the computer back to get a new one. The new computer was broken. I sent it back and got a refund. During the time trying to talk to some guy with an accent so deep you could hardly understand what he was saying.
That doesn't say good to me. It's says "meh, we don't care".

I wouldn't call several hundred dollars "a few dollars".
Besides, why get the exact parts, you don't need a 1100W PSU, or 6GB of RAM, or a Core i7.
Not only is Alienware overpriced, it's also way more than what you need.

And sometimes way less, I.E. Not a single Alienware has dual GBPS ethernet, which is a must for me now, can't get it with usb3, cant get it with Air cooling when their liquid cooling is piss poor.
God I am not sure why people even think their cases look good. They look like some piece of shit.

If you have a wireless router, and you go cable modem>router>PC you increase latency by a sizable amount, as well as lose a little bandwidth. As soon as I got dual Ethernet and went Modem>PC>Router, my ping got drastically better in games, and my bandwidth was a little better.

Overnight? It's been like this for a good year or two.
I'm rockin my Aurora 7500, still serves me perfectly.
$3000 = rip off, but I get 200fps on Crysis, full settings. I don't mind.
