• Computer on top of desk or under?

Hey guise, I've been keeping my computer under my desk for a while now, and I'm just wondering whether or not I should move it on top of my desk. So I was reading system builder marathon when I saw that apparantly, under the desk is where computers pick up the most dust and hair. I have carpet flooring and I do tend to shed long strands of hair a lot. Plus this would also expose my computer to more air and allow me to admire it more often. But I am a little heisitant to move my computer on the top. My desk isn't the most stable , it sorta shakes if you push it. Having the extra weight could make it worse. Also I am afraid it might fall.
Keep it where it is. You just have to clean it out more often, but at least, you don't have a huge ugly box on your desk.

Take a picture of the desk.
Put it on top, you'll get to look at the blinking lights when you're bored. Plus you'll have easier access if you need to open it up. [editline]07:51PM[/editline]
I do tend to shed long strands of hair a lot.
> Furry avatar :smug:

I have little computer so it fits
I've heard the same thing about dust, it's worth a shot I suppose, see if it's stable, and add something to stabilize it just in case.
Yeah, if you have carpet, try to have something separating them, like in my case, a piece of wood.
> Furry avatar :smug:
horo is not a furry. I am mainly worried about it falling on to the floor.
I would have mine on top of my desk if I didn't have the tiny desk+22" CRT combo.
I would have mine on top of my desk if I didn't have the tiny desk+22" CRT combo.
I have a big desk and no monitor combo :saddowns:
On top :smug: But yeah, I built my desk that way.
horo is not a furry.
it has animal parts it has fur on them it is furry
Horo is arguably not furry.
im pretty sure horo is a furry
I'd put mine on top but I don't have enough space. If I had two LCD Monitors rather than one CRT and One LCD then it'd be fine.
Furries are anthropomorphic animals that do yiff and shit. Its basically a dog that stands up with human-like limbs. Horo is a wolf diety with power over wheat. She can switch between either a full wolf form, which is just an animal, or a almost full human form, with the exception of ears and a tail. She never goes half in between a wolf and a human that is a furry.
I'd put mine on top but I don't have enough space. If I had two LCD Monitors rather than one CRT and One LCD then it'd be fine.
Pretty much my situation. Though I enjoy having it on the ground. I have better access to things on top of the case such as my DVD-RW drive and things like the external hard drive and the external DVD-ROM drive for my netbook.
thats the dumbest power i've ever heard
It works wonders in medieval Europe.
It works wonders in medieval Europe.
ooooo he can control wheat so scary
ooooo he can control wheat so scary
does that mean he controls wheat bread too? [editline]07:42PM[/editline] or any wheat product?
walking bread loafs
oh god... [editline]07:45PM[/editline] when sandwiches strike back...
does that mean he controls wheat bread too? [editline]07:42PM[/editline] or any wheat product?
Wheat harvests, but the power is limited by the status of the soil.
