• Cannot watch certain videos using VLC (.mkv)?

Hi! I was trying to watch my episodes of Clannad today (I finally had some time to continue the series) and VLC refuses to play them now. I double clicked them, added them to the playlist, moved them to another folder, rebooted (derp), and it refuses to play them. I think it's not letting me play .mkv files anymore, because other .mkv files won't play. Anything I can do?
Tried reinstall VLC or tried another mediaplayer so the files are not broken or anything? Does other video files work, like .avi?
Update VLC. or Get a good player and proper codecs set up. http://files.nyaa.eu/HOW_DID_I_PLAYED_BACK.txt
Try TheKMPlayer: http://www.kmpmedia.net/. It comes with all codecs you possibly could ever want and need. Be careful not to install advertisement crap. (check boxes in the installer).
Do you have the correct codec's installed? I recommend the "K-Lite Codec Pack" download & install that :) Good luck!
