"Gaming" headsets and keyboards and all that other shit are pretty much nearly always shitty products so hopefully they are'nt just talking nonsense with all that
"for gamers tired of gimmicks" So they're NOT gonna call it a 'gaming' headset, and just call it a headset?

"Tired of gimmicks" - Still seems to have rainbow-LEDs that can be set to pulsate.
"tired of gimmicks" if you don't wanna buy gimmicks then just invest a nice pair of headphones and an xlr microphone.
I've been using an various pairs of Sennheisers and a Logitech Guitar Hero mic in a middle school art project shaped like a cup as my VOIP set up for the past four years I think I'm good Also don't claim your headset to be gimmick-less if it still has LEDs on the fuckin thing
I run a Corsair Vengeance 1500. It's pretty gimmickless, the only LEDs are on the sound-control-thing on the cord, and that actually serves a purpose of making it easier to find and adjust.

I like RGB's on my products, say all you want about them but i love to change the colors of my mouse and keyboard every now and then, it looks cool and it gives a whole different vibe. All i want is non-gaming RGB keyboards so that the price tag isn't 100+ dollars but more or less 40-50 dollars.

Here's a gimmick I don't like. Plastic that breaks within a year. Stop making headsets out of plastic. Stop it. Stop If I get a headset and the bit that goes over your head and extends the earpieces are made of plastic, I take a metal coathanger, straighten it out, bend it making the two ends meet, then I bend it over the headset, ear to ear, and wrap it ear to ear with duct tape
V MODA Boom Pro on a set of SHP-9500s, good spend.
never ever ever ever ever ever ever buy headphones from a general accessories company. i guarantee that you will get better quality for the same price from companies such as Sennheiser or audio technica
