Well what do you think?
Old CRT TV, Fit the motherboard in the back, have a LCD covering where the TV used to be. It would have to be flat on the front of the TV(Not the CRT screen its self)so you can fit in a LCD. Like the one below. It would be pretty cool.
I've always wanted to make a portable gaming desktop with monitor that fits inside a briefcase-like-case. Like that but bigger. Monitor fits in the top, then the rest of the computer on the bottom complete with keyboard and mouse.
That might have some cooling problems
Use some fans, then.
Always wanted to throw some parts into an NES case.
Use a lunchbox with a Pico-ITX motherboard and 7" screen inside.
Use a lunchbox with a Pico-ITX motherboard and 7" screen inside.
I thought about doing that, but if you're using regular input, it would be rather useless. If I had enough money for a touch screen I might though. My friend suggested a fishtank, toaster, guitar hero controller, or guitar amp (I'm liking this idea). If I can't find anything really interesting, I'm just gonna build a little pico like the wooden one in your thread Mac.
A living animal.
A living animal.
Ha. I'll put it in my deer mount's head.
Ha. I'll put it in my deer mount's head.
Purchase a Mini-ITX motherboard, see what it fits in then go from there. [editline]21st December 2010[/editline] http://www.ncixus.com/products/50435/BOXD410PT/Intel/
Naaaah I'm going Pico-ITX.
Naaaah I'm going Pico-ITX.
It's more expensive. The size difference is not huge either.
it doubles as a chair
Fit a PC into a PSU case. That would be kind of cool .
It's more expensive. The size difference is not huge either.
Um, NO! There's a reason it's more expensive: BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING TINY.
Um, NO! Supporting evidence! I just barely have enough money for one of these, a slimline CD drive, and an SSD.
The size difference is not that big. 70mm is only 7cm, especially if he is planning to put it in something around the size of a lunchbox.
170mm is 17cm. I can do math too. I already have a netbook. I want a pico just to have a pico.
I realize you can do math but not everybody knows metric.
4th grade math in the US, you use it every year after that. I've wanted to put a gaming-grade computer into a very small enclosure. I could probably fit one into a 10"x10"5" custom case, but manufacturing the motherboard tray would be a little tricky.
I want to put one together out of red, blue and black lego bricks. Does anybody know if lego would have a problem with electro static discharge on the hardware. [editline]21st December 2010[/editline]
4th grade math in the US, you use it every year after that.
Well I did not know that Americans were required to learn metric as it is not their official system. In Canada, its metric or nothing. I think it is because imperial is inferior to metric. But for whatever reason americans want to hold onto it so bad just to be different and screw up international plane flights, as a example it caused a crash and numerous deaths.
I'm pretty sure in American high school science classes students are more likely than not required to use metric anyways, I think the government would like to change to metric too, it's just that they would have to replace road markings/signs, thermometers, scales and etcetera, and plus if they did change to metric it wouldn't fare well with the general public.

Metric is just all 10s. I've been to Canada, I loved it. And actually, I got reduced credit for a paper in my freshman year because I used the word "foot" to describe length. [editline]22nd December 2010[/editline] And some epic fail for you:

My new computer can play minesweeper and fits in a 6"x7"x3" enclosure :v:
