I think people are too reliant on having windows. People managed perfectly well to keep their eyes open before, without crashing. It's just another piece of technology the driver relies on.
Expected it to be a very constrictive thing that stops you a shitload of meters back instead of just a few, but its apparently totally not that. Which is good. I wonder why we didn't have something like this much much sooner. Although, I do see how people could get too reliant on it and just be like "oh the car stops by itself so meh to the brakes"

I dunno about other people, but I probably wouldn't find that very comfortable, every time the car brakes.

They are pretty smooth, but are still prone to error, like that one Top Gear episode when Jeremy slightly bumped another car while testing what SHOULD be a similar system.
I'm more scared about the new power steering than te new brakes
