Do not get a pre built.
You aren't helping.
Just tell me if it is or isn't.

obligatory build it yourself ect., ect.
No it is not a good deal. 220 is an extremely shitty card.
Build it yourself. I can't possibly think of a reason not to. Its as easy as plugging stuff into the motherboard and screwing screws in.
If you're looking for a good build, go around the forum, nearly every thread has a build.
How much cheaper would it be to build it myself.
And also, I'm not talking "OMG AWESOME CRYSAIS MAXZ SETTINGS LOLOLOL" good PC
I'm talking about being able to play Valve Games(More along the lines of TF2 not L4D) at a good fps (60+) on low.

I just built mine in October with about... $470 in parts or so?
$100 CPU
$100 GPU
$80 RAM
$70 Motherboard
$50 case
$50 Hard drive
$20 DVD burner
You can recycle most of the parts you have now like DVD burners, hard drives, monitors, speakers, keyboards, and mice.
The specs of mine are pretty similar, but my GPU is much better which is important for games. My Radeon 4850 destroys a Geforce GT220.
[editline]09:13PM[/editline]
And for Valve games, I can max them all and still get 80+ fps.
Oh, and you'll probably need a $50 power supply. I forgot about that.
Well, I have a PC that's still in use at my house, I'm not exactly out of my house, so..., if my dad will help me with they might let me, but back on subject, I have a pretty good hard drive, kind of small for gaming but still, and I got a case, and I don't actually need a DVD burner, but I have one so....
$100
$100
$80
+$70
Estimated $350
Pretty damn cheap.
But couldn't I just upgrade my GPU and RAM?
Watch some YouTube videos on how to build a computer and you'll have no problem building one. It's just like a bunch of internal USB ports but different shapes.
Prebuilt gaming pcs are shite, it's ALWAYS OMG 4GB OF RAM AND AWESOME DUAL CORE PROCESSOR WITH 500GB HARD DRIVE! Then you take a closer look and they always seem to have shitty video cards.
dont listen to all these nerds saying dont get a prebuilt!!! they all think that since they "know everything" (and they dont) that everyone else can put a computer together. i reccomend dell for the tech support and they will help you through anything and you can pick the parts youreself. sure youd be paying a bit more (not much) but youd be getting it from a known and trusted dealer instead of some shadier places like newegg.

Your being too obvious.
Go back to troll school.

OP I can personally attest how easy and how much cheaper building a computer is.
I used to be a skeptic, and I decided to look into it one day, and then I decided to order the parts.
I didn't even need any instruction. Like people say, it's like expensive legos.
The PC in OP is shit.
That answer your question?
No, its not a good deal, you could build a much better PC with that money

Obligatory "yeah, are those games from 1990?"

You are getting ripped off. Usually brands that cater to "hardcore gamers" try to take advantage of their general ignorance. If you want the most bang for your buck, ask for some help in the PC Building section. They're mostly friendly.

Yeah I hate those hardcore gamer brands, most pc games build their own.
I get that point that I should build it, but wouldn't it be easier, and much cheaper to upgrade my computer?
I'm sure somebody on here will help you build a computer, building it yourself is the best option. It's cheap and really not hard.
Specs then
The motherboard is pretty much an all in one guide anyway.
Slot in the Graphics card, CPU (And heatsink ontop), RAM all into the motherboard and you're already 50% done.
Not everyone has the time or interest to build their own PC... In which case you should point out good pre-built deals.
Not everyone has the time or interest to build their own PC... In which case you should point out good pre-built deals.
Well, spending a couple hours building it gets you a great PC and a very cheap price.
If people would rather spend an extra £200 ontop to cut out 2 hours work then fine.

The fuck? If you've got time to play games then you can spare some time to build a pc.
