Buying a gaming laptop with a budget of around $USD1200-1300 or less

As the title says, I wish to buy a gaming laptop with a budget of around $USD1200 - 1300 or less.

I also wish to state that I am temporarily staying in Hong Kong so some products may not be accessible.

Whilst building a desktop is better, I will be moving around and going to different places a lot. I am taking up computer science so I will use it to code now and in the future.

Are there laptops where I can modify and upgrade it later like a desktop?
