Go on sale already you
[editline]5th January 2018[/editline]
I'm willing to bet its already done that and I've missed it though tbh
Absolutely a thing I need eventually but its too early in the consoles life for my tastes
I bought a Switch and regret it tbh, but I'm an outlier
BotW was great, but the other games aren't so much.

It's also too early in the console's life for a price drop

Well I mean yeah, can't exactly drop the price of something you're trying to make money off.
It's part of the reason I'm not into buying consoles early, its too high to justify, and I can never get a good enough sale if any. Used consoles I'd rather avoid.
A sale is also different than an actual price drop. Lots of stuff goes on sale.

I sold mine but only because I really do not care about games that much but Zelda was great. I also really like the hardware itself.
I am glad it sells well.

I wanna sell mine but no one bites unless it's 40% cheaper, and then Amazon takes their % cut as well which is gross.
Why did you guys bother to buy it so early, if only one game caught your interest? I don't understand such people. Why would you even pay so much money for a new product and only being interested in one game. The number and kind of games were outlaid in the beginning of 2017, so you pretty much knew what you'd get for the rest of the year.
Why not just wait a few years and then get one?

In my purchasing experience it was justified because even though the only game out of interest at the time was BOTW, Nintendo had already announced plenty of upcoming games. BOTW kept me MORE than occupied during the wait for Mario Kart and Jackbox and at that point the console went from single-player to multi-player in me and my friends eyes so suddenly we had that going for us. Then came ARMS, Minecraft, Cave Story+, Splatoon 2, Sonic Mania, the other Jackbox's, Pokken, Stardew Valley, and right now I'm going through LA Noire. Pretty much every month since release has had a title worth buying, so I feel pretty good about buying it that early.

Because I knew there was games I wanted to play coming in the future. I wanted to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 because I never got the Wii U, so I never got to experience them. Also because I wanted Breath of the Wild

I specifically meant people here who bought the Switch for one game and now resell the entire console. I should have clarified that.
Seems pretty stupid anyway, its only been out nearly a year and already have plans to sell it, as if there arent gonna be more years ahead of new games?
I play my Switch more than I play on PC nowadays. I just want to play on it. I don't want to start a game on PC if it's on the Switch, because I'd rather have the save on the Switch.
The convenience factor is unimaginably cool. Being able to play it next to my computer, then take it down to the basement and plug it into my home theater, then take it to bed -- it's just amazing.
A+ product would buy again
