I decided to paint my case, and " drill " it for better cable management. I found out that the paint isn´t binding very nicely to metal, so paint comes off if you scratch it ( Going to redo that. ) Stripping the case: [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10383273/IMG_8274.JPG[/img_thumb] The " guts " [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10383273/IMG_8273.JPG[/img_thumb] Removing the top, front and HDD bays. Going to install Scythe 120mm slipstream fans instead of the antec ones, then paint the mesh bloodred. Can anyone reccomend a fan controller that supports 3/4 fans? install some blue LEDs
I was going to remove the antec fans, paint the mesh bloodred and install red cathodes. Dunno if I should just stick with the blue.
Get it powder-coated for a perfect paint finish that doesn't come off.
Above, powder coat is the only way to go with pc cases
Yeah.. no where to get that done though.
Where do you find people to powder coat cases? And do they take it apart for you and reassemble it? I live near Chicago so there's probably somebody in the area.
When I needed my metal sheets powder-coated I just searched on Google and found several within 20 minutes of me.
