My old laptop got burned (literaly) and now I need a new one, Im currently using my bro laptop but I dont want to stay to long with it. I was thinking about getting this one if you people think it kinda sucks just tell me wich one to get for the price tag of :
0$ - 600$ can stretch the price a bit but not too much
Computer im thinking off getting HP G6-1090 SP aka Hp Pavilon G6
Specs:
Intel Core i5-480M 2,66 GHz
RAM / Cache: 4 GB DDR3/3 MB de cacheL3
Graphic Card: AMD Radeon HD 6470M
Hard Drive: 640 GB SATA 5400 rpm
Ps: Im after a laptop to be used for gaming.
Don't get a HP laptop. Support might be tricky in a few years time. As for gaming you won't be able to gest the best gaming performance from a $600 laptop

I just got a lenovo thinkpad edge15 for about that price, but the gfx card is a 545v which has half the video ram and half the pipelines, and is 55nm tech against the 40nm for the gfx card with the hp you posted. I like my lenovo though, no stylish bs and a matte screen.
It has the same processor and ram.
Already found a good one Mods you can close this thread

Mind sharing with us?
Might want to make sure that you get some spell checking software preinstalled...
Its a EasyNote TS11-HR-244PTPACKARD BELL its pretty good and sorry for the mistakes
HP is a portable bonfire to be honest.
Go for MSI, ASUS, Acer etc when gaming.
laptops tend to have a half life due to gaming, unless you get one with a massive cooling system, which is not easy to find. Cooling is essential if you want this laptop for a few years.
Edit: I just made a pun without knowing it, damn.
As I have been told before, you can probably build a PC for $100 less and still get better than the laptop you want

Sometimes a laptop is important, like I just got a new one last week, (last one died due to fan problems) I need it for college and can't lug my desktop around, I enjoy my games and like to play them on my downtime. That being said I installed Arma 2 on my new laptop with an I3 CPU and a decent graphics card, it runs well but christ does it get hot :V:
No but he wants a laptop for gaming, he may as well just build for less
Get Asus, imo best brand for windows based laptops ;)
