So i bought my dad a prebuilt with one in it, how does this compare to his old 9600gt? (Broken)
-snip, thought it says 5770-
A fuckton better.
Worse actually
Less powerful than 4670.
Better, but prebuilt :argh:

It's not better
Yes i know its a prebuilt.. my dad usually photoshops and stuff so it has 8gb of ram and an i7, compared to his old pc with a 9600gt E7500 and 4gb.
You're right Ollih. Just checked some benchmarks. The 5570 trails the 9600GT by a good 7 FPS.

Wow. He got a crappy setup. The 5570 is worse than my 4670. I bet my AMD 250 dual-core with my 4670 would be better at photoshops than your dad's setup.
the 5570 is just a 4670 from I have seen in benchmarks, but with DX11 support.

I thought the 5670 is closer to the 4670.

that's what I thought but I use both the 4670 and 5570 in my PC, got the same performance if not a bit better by 1~2 fps with the 5570.

I'm going by personal experience and not benchmarks from reviews.

I would the assume the 5670 is better than both.
this thread is, for the most part, full of shit.
5570 is comparable to the 4670, and the 9600GT beats both by a considerable margin, and the 5670 beats all three, however, I wouldn't recommend any of them, I would say to get a 4850 if you can spare the inch and maybe $20, unless we're talking about low profile cards, then you might as well just get another 9600GT.
so I was right.
