For the low price of $0 you'd have to be either ridiculously petty or uninterested in the genre to not give it a shot.

There is nothing wrong with uplay
pay me to open uplay first
am i still cool to hate on uplay and origin in 2017?
There is nothing wrong with uplay
plenty of things wrong with uplay, but a free games a free game.

It isn't any different from Steam or Origin.

I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, but they'd have to release it for my platform first. That's not happening.
It isn't any different from Steam or Origin.
Steam has an installed userbase, an actual catalogue of games worth mentioning, and people are already using it so the friend system works a fuck load better. The overlay is ok.
Origin has shitty EA games and ok EA games, an awful storefront, an awful library view, was unstable as fuck last time I used it but I hear that's fixed, and the friend system may as well not be there. Their overlay sucks ass.
Uplay is the worst DRM platform I've had the misfortune of using, the only thing worse is Uplay games through Steam because Ubisoft are retarded and can't figure out how to push the updates through Steam so you get to update after launching the game. Their overlay is worse than EA's. The only thing they have going for them is the dumb unlocks for uplay points or whatever.
Epic Games Launcher seems to be somewhere between Origin and Uplay but I haven't really used it.
GOG's launcher is basic but doesn't fuck you around which is nice.
Steam has issues but each publisher having their own shitty Steam clone is much worse than everything just being on Steam. It's retarded having like 5 different shitty DRM clients because companies don't want to get along.
Hell no you couldn't pay me to download Uplay let alone play watch dogs.
I've had zero issues with Uplay.
I've had zero issues with Uplay.
Uplay once ate my CDkey for an assassins creed game and wouldn't let me install it. Proceeded to tell me the licence was already in use.
Freshly bought from Uplay.

I didn't mention origin and have access so??
Origin actually improved over the years, uplays has changed very little

I think Origin does a lot more things better than Steam tbh. For example, this is glorious:

This tiny piece of information is huge quality of life that Steam would benefit from greatly.
origin is the reason steam lets you refund a game just because you didn't like it
The second one is way better IMO.
the second one had better worldbuilding and was a straight upgrade gameplay wise but the first didn't go near as overboard with the dead memes so I like it better
I just got it and I can't even download it, I only get the option to "preload" it.

I tell you what, if uplay is still on my system after uninstalling Far Cry 4 I'll bite.
Uplay? Not even with a rented dick.

The same thing happened with the Tom Clancy Wildlands free weekend, I'm guessing Ubisoft wants us to play when they want us to play or something..
Is the article using one of the early bullshots? I don't remember it looking nearly that good when I played.
When is the "Pre-Load" supposed to be lifted? This is why people pirate your fucking games.

But you see, time is money

It says in the article that it opens up 4pm GMT

Don't worry, my friend. Bethesda already announced their Bethesdalauncher and it will be the solution for everybody's problems.

nice, I have been meaning to get it for a while, but I could never justify the price
I wonder if it'll actually work for me.
I tried installing this from a friend's account once and it would just crash with a mysterious error message when I tried to play.
Update: It works! :v:
Runs really well, too.
So I downloaded this last night. Free game would be silly to not at least try it.
I'm yet to actually play it. I keep crashing with "Watch Dogs has stopped working" and I gave up for the night after watching the intro for the third fucking time.

Same issue I used to get, I bet.
Kind of a shame.
