If I have a ASUS Mobo, and there's a HIS 5770 and ASUS 5770, what's the difference between the two, because HIS is cheaper, I'm considering that, but I was thinking it might have performance loss against the ASUS one because it's not set for my mobo's standards, or something like that. Sorry if I'm an idiot, asking this. Mobo = Motherboard, for anyone that asks.
The difference is the stickers on the card which you won't see since they're facing down anyways. There's no performance difference and you don't have to match brands with your card and mobo.
I have an nForce mobo, and a Radeon 5770.
I'm assuming you are talking about the single slot HIS and the ASUS cucore. The difference is they have different connection ports. They have different coolers. ASUS is a dual slot design. ASUS also allows voltage tweaking.
Sometimes what differs is the stuff that comes with the graphics cards. Like for example, when I bought my XFX 9600GT I got Company of Heroes with it.
I'm getting a HIS then, thanks!
