• Flash CS3 finally usuable on Wine?

I've heard rumours that after the recent help from Google, Wine may have sorted the problems with Flash CS3 and that, aside from the usual small interface glitches, it is usable. Anyone else tried it recently who can verify this?
just use virtualbox in seamless mode with virtual windows.
I'd much rather use WINE if it can be helped. I'm trying to get Photoshop CS3 to work, but no dice. CS2 works, but then glitches worse and worse until it breaks itself. CS3 and CS4 don't work. CS1 is featureless and slow. VirtualBox adds 4GB+ to my HDD with a bare XP install, AND wastes resources for just wanting to use one program.
According to AppDB, Flash CS3 got a garbage rating on wine-1.1.26. Thats the first test since 1.1.17 which it got a Bronze on. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=7120

That way Wine could have a Core as a base to build a snap-in for to support the app desired to run. Example: You want Adobe Photoshop CS3 to run in WINE... You install WINE core app. then you load the CS3 snap-in, and then install Photoshop CS3. The app works, you're happy, and rainbows shine in the sky. Seems like a simple idea. It's a wonder why nobody has done it yet.

Chances are, by fixing a bug in one app - you fix it in a multitude of others at the same time.

If wine allowed per-app hacks nobody would be able to understand how wine works at all and the code would be garbage.
