Hey all Windows 7 user lads. Apparently, after 4 years of using XP, I felt left out because everyone else uses vista or 7. I picked Windows 7 up and now i have problems with the resolution.
When i right click on the desktop and Screen resolution I get a list of 800 x 600 - 1600 x 1200 resolutions and it didn't detect my monitor (My monitor is 1680 x 1050).
So I need the Ati catalyst center to get it right and it didn't appear on the taskbar on startup.
TL:DR: I lost the Ati catalyst center on Windows 7. :downs:

I had the same thing on Vista about a year ago, im not 100% sure on how i fixed it, but i think i used CCCleaner (driver cleaner, try using a reg cleaner aswell) and just reinstalled it.

But in Vista you can Right-click on the Desktop and on the top should be the catalyst center.

I didnt have that either, everything worked fine for me, but i needed to change some advanced settings, i just couldnt find the control centre.
Maybe someone has some better suggestions? Maybe where is the .exe located?
Reinstall ATI's drivers which were released not long ago.
