I'm looking to buy the liquid cooler that comes out of the HP Omen X, this one [url]http://i.imgur.com/FTqDC6s.jpg[/url]
I went through HP's horrid phone system, managed to get a small handful of people through like 4 numbers. I finally got to the end of my destination and was told by a supervisor that the item i'm looking to buy cannot be bought.
Thing is, there is a liquid cooler on the parts list of the Omen X (X9T34AV) for $50. Is this the same cooler?

If that is not the red hp omen cooler, what is that then?
At the end of the day, I just want to know if it's possible to buy this separately.

Doesn't look like they're selling replacement parts for it at all. You're SOL unless you call enough times and might find someone willing to help you, unlikely though.

I'll call tomorrow evening, problem is. I don't know what number to call now because I have like 4 numbers i've called and been transferred a million times. I keep getting "oh you need this department, we can't do this here" type stuff on top of that dealing with the voice system and having it transfer me incorrectly too.
Turns out the cooler is an Asetek one, gonna call them up tomorrow.
The base one is, but it's not going to look the same (which I assume is why you're trying to hunt down this specific one) if you can get one from them. They have their own lines, and actually make about half the AIO coolers out there that are just rebranded as other companies.
Well, I got told in the HP thread by a rep. that it's not possible to get. They told me to to try asking Best Buy (Best Buy being one of their authorized retailers). I guess i'll try but I really doubt Best Buy will have it. Also, called up Asetek, there was no one to speak to. You can only call unless you know someone personally and their ext. #. Sent them an email instead.

Called all their suppliers, neither HP or any of their suppliers have it. Asetek won't respond. I give up.
