Is there a way to update video card drivers on an old Sony VAIO laptop?

System specs:
Sony VAIO VGN-FZ31M:
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7250
Memory - 2GB
Graphics card - nVidia GeForce 8400M GT GPU(does support Dx11)
Videocard drviers version: 7.15.11.6760
Drivers update date: 26.05.2009
Is there actually any way to update drives on this thing, when nVidia itself says that this card is not supported and forces me to go on Sony website, which doesn't have any on videocard drivers for this videocard? Googling haven't helped much.
Ask yourself, do you need an update?
The GPU probaly had some custom adjustments to improve upon your laptop. Besides, the 8000 series hasn't been updated for years. (as far as I know)

Of course I do need an upgrade, this laptop sucks a lot. I just use as it's the only my computer anyways, and it can run TF2. But I still would like to know, if there any possibilities to update graphic drivers...

Sort of "Hacked"drivers. Ive had some good experiences with them on an old acer laptop with a 8600gt.

Doesn't matter, the drivers I listed actually belong to his GPU. He should have just written the card in manually...
[sp]Also, HI TAIPAN welcome back :v:[/sp]

They don't work because Sony handles the driver support for VAIO.
