I've always liked wandering around stores, even if I don't have any money to buy things with. But hardware stores and places like IKEA have always been total fantasy wonderlands for me; in fact, IKEA is my favorite store to visit. This probably stems from the fact that my parents have built two of their own houses when I was a kid, and I spent a lot of time in stores like that. Places like antique item stores are also cool, anything with odd items in them are fun to wander around. Conveineice stores. Video games stores. Oddly enough, vitamin stores. I was at one earlier today and idk I just like looking at all the clean, colorful labels.
second hand guitar shops with lots of effect pedals and weird shit
ikeas are built like goddamned exhibits. i actually got lost in the one near my place in haparanda. but on-topic, i like to wander around electronics and other such hardware stores.
antique stores, furniture stores, and bookstores for me by far.
Independent grocery stores. It's always fun to see what weird stuff they have, and maybe pick up some sweets for the trip home. Even better if it's an international market.
Electronics stores like Best Buy and mom and pop game stores.
Charity shops (or thrift stores)... I enjoy thrifting in my spare time and the best thing about it is that you'll never know what you'll find or come across every time! It's like a slightly competitive treasure hunt :joy:
Mom and Pop shops, they always have that kind of charm to them. And delicacies stores, there are a lot near me, and always have the best candy and sodas. Those always have that charm to them as well that I love.
Places like Hasting's and Vintage Stock. There's so much neat stuff there and I can spend like two hours browsing stuff with a friend.
car boot sales are the best :)
American food import stores. They are generally not very well-known so they aren't crowded, and of course they have lots of stuff you can't find in other stores, like Pop Tarts (the supermarket I work at brought them back a year ago, but a few months ago they took them off again), Reese's peanut butter cups, this pre-mixed peanut butter jelly stuff, and all the American soft drinks.
Bookstores are the best. I used to go to the Borders near my house quite often before it closed down and while it's quite a bit further away the Powell's Books store downtown is pretty neat too.
asian grocery stores are pretty neat otherwise, easily thrift places

I love roaming around stores and shopping! I really like going to the antique/vintage stores here in Seattle. One of my favorite antique shops is like IKEA but with antiques and it's very big!
DV247 has a good collection of audio gear, including a collection of Neumann mics.
Art stores. It's a joy to walk through the aisles of paint and empty canvases, and flipping through those "How to draw X" books. It reeks of potential.
ikea, game shops, and barnes and noble
Guitar shops, and I guess music shops in general.

There's a record store in my town that has a better selection of older games than the shop specifically for retro games in the same area.
Hardware stores are amazing. I can easily waste an hour just looking around even though I don't know anything about building things.
The liquor store
Toys R Us is still fucking cool to me.
Thrift shops and video game stores, even thought I haven't gone in any in such a long time now. I also love bakeries and creameries
I like to visit marketplaces. They remind me of my childhood. They also serve awesome food at very cheap prices, and generous servings I also like to visit flea markets. There's actually one that's held daily, in a major park, where an old man sets up a stall with antiques. So far, I've come across postcards from the 40s in good condition, functional soviet-era cameras, and a flaregun.
hoping you bought them all
I really wanted the flaregun, but it was too expensive for me at the moment. I've been saving up to get one of those cameras, though. I'm a sucker for classic cameras.
