Just put this build together for my friend. He plans on using it with his HDMI ready TV for games, music, and movies. Total is $1437 USD without shipping.

Get a i5-2500k instead of a i5-2400.
Jesus, what is that? Antec 300, i5-2400...at $1500? You should get a HAF 932 or HAF X, probably an i7-2600k or at minimum an i5-2500k. Also get a GTX 580 gpu.
The fuck is this. The guy has a $1500 budget and you're telling him to get an i5? May as well just get an i7.

With $1500 an i7 would be good though, if slightly unnecessary. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] If he won't need the i7, get an i5-2500k and only 4gb of ram, and spend the rest on better case & GPU.
