• Rust- Problems With Enabling Nvidia GPU
    2 replies, posted
I have tried many different options for getting my notebook to use my nvidia gpu instead of my integrated intel graphics on Rust. I have went to the Nvidia control panel and changed the global setting to use nvidia gpu but it reverts back the second I close it, even if I have it open it still will use the integrated gpu on rust and not the nvidia gpu... no other game seems to have this problem for me. I've researched the problem for many solutions and found nothing else except to go to my bios which I do not really want to do.. I went to a near buy computer specialist and they also could not seem to find a fix. Without getting this fixed I will not be able to play Rust which truly seems like a great game. If anyone can help please post away! Nvidia GPU: 960M 2GB Thanks!
find the game's excutable file, right click on it, and in that menu try to set it to launch using your gpu instead of integrated graphics.
