mods in multiplayer games are cancer that turn every server into 24/7 deathmatch office 32 player noblock infinite max money bullshit. I am glad Valve gave the middle finger to mods and even community servers in CSGO. There is a reason people like MOBA's so much, it's such a controlled environment where you are forced to see the developer's vision of the game and not some clan tag bullshit server admin's

I think he's talking clientside.
I'm pretty sure CS:GO is just as malleable clientside as any other Source game unless you're doing matchmaking I suppose which would make sense with sv_pure.
I got my Dota 2 modded and it works just fine

Almost every public server I tried runs at least 1 sv_pure
