Also the size for NBA game is 40gb Shadow of Mordor only 40gb too. Anyway, 5gb is nothing.
Oh sweet. Would've liked to see it earlier but hey, a demo's a demo.
Didnt really see enough after playing the demo that this is even close to being worth $60. I love civ but BE is too close to Civ 5 yet its lacking so much and one of the biggest parts of Civ that make it so good isnt there, that being the historical shit. Its not different enough even though its sci-fi, it feels like a reskin of civ 5 with some of the GoK and BNW features thrown in. If you are really into civ and love the sci-fi setting then go for it, otherwise I would say buying the Civ 5 complete for $50 is a much better purchase and game(at this point). BE sadly needs some serious patches and its gonna need those expansions, kind of like how Civ 5 was at the start.
The whole future of mankind is the game's theme. It's about where we're going not where we came from. But seriously I recommend trying this before buying. It is a good game, however it differs more than at least I had expected.
it's not a problem if you live in a first world country.
maybe if you still live with your parents as a uni student, 100 mbit/s is not possible for me at this point in time
maybe if you still live with your parents as a uni student, 100 mbit/s is not possible for me at this point in time
I get a 100 Mbit/s connection as a part of my rent and I live in a student apartment. I guess Sweden isn't as good a place to live in as I thought.
you only need like 20-30 down to get max download speeds if you are the only one using that connection.
3.75 MB/s is most definitely not the "max" download speed [editline]27th October 2014[/editline]
I get a 100 Mbit/s connection as a part of my rent and I live in a student apartment. I'm lucky if I run at a good 1.2 MB/s download, put it on overnight and its done the next morning. It's really not a big deal. Also I super jelly of 100 mbit/s ! To add to the actual topic: While 100 turns may seem a bit short handed to get a good and proper impression of the game,it does still give you the chance of getting introduced to the new functions of the game.
The demo convinced me that I definitely will enjoy this game, but it'd be nice if it was just a few quid cheaper. Also, my download was only 2.5GB. [editline]27th October 2014[/editline] Oh, GMG has a 20% off coupon. £24 it is!
Played the demo. It was okay but if felt like it was missing a lot of charm that civ 5 had. The miasma is also pretty annoying.
I have a .6kb/s internet connection. Every GB counts. I've been downloading Shadow of Mordor for two weeks now.
Do you live on Mars or something?
Suburbs of New Jersey. It's even more barren.
Suburbs of New Jersey. It's even more barren.
Same thing as Mars I suppose. Good luck with the download!
might just be my area but I get to settle with 10 Mbit/s until I move to a regular apartment
I'm on 8/4 and 5GB is still nothing.
how can you complain about a 5gb game (which was the standard in like 2003) and complain about a lack of progress in textures and things like that buy a disc if you have awful internet
maybe if you still live with your parents as a uni student, 100 mbit/s is not possible for me at this point in time
I live in a student dorm, we get a 100mbit connection as part of the rent. Stockholm, Sweden. And even if you have a 10 mbit connection, that's only like 1.5~ hours of downloading.
