Hello, I was wondering if someone could pop up a good gaming build for me? The maximum amount I can spend is $2500 due to impatientness. I want a beautiful case and want something that can run most games on High Graphics and want the new intel i7 extreme gaming processor. Thanks.
i7 = i5 in gaming Also, what country and what size of your monitor?
i7 = i5 in gaming Also, what country and what size of your monitor?
why would he get an i5 if he can afford an i7?
I'd prefer a 27" or 25" inch and I live in the U.S.A
$2,500 is hella to play with. This is going to be fun. You need EVERYTHING man? Like, monitor keyboard mouse OS?
Yep, have fun :D
1366 has definite advantages http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=17970707 + http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001338 OS is pretty much whatever you want to get. Mouse and keyboard are your own preference, but I have the deathadder and eclipse 2
Any other builds?
Nope. Besides, you save ~$200 for future upgrades. You know how to build it right?
Triple 1080p monitors?
Triple 1080p monitors?
AMG It's gunksi, I love you. And I've never tried having double or tripple monitors, but I could give it a shot, it sounds pretty cool. [editline]04:41AM[/editline] I'm also interested in his computer, If I could give similar things with it that'd be nice.
*words and picture*
That computer is nothing compared to what you can get with $2500. You have no idea what your talking about. Get a new 6 core i-7 it's the best processor out and you can afford it. Throw in a few ssd's and a 2 terabyte hard drive for storage. Then top it off with a fermi and you have the biggest e-peen of all of facepunch.
according to him, he only plays source games and other games that don't demand a system like that. -"e-peen". He probably doesn't do any video/3d editing, why the fuck would he need a 6 core i7? think people.. think.
A >1k gulftown will disproportion the build
I'm extremely interest in this computer, any advice? http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/desktops/alienware-area-51/pd.aspx?refid=alienware-area-51&s=dhs&cs=19&~ck=mn I've heard alienware was best quality, and looking from the reviews, this is one bad ass desktop. Also, is there anything I should add, because I'm looking at the 23% increased FPS thing, upgrading to Ultime Windows 7 64bit, and getting a good keyboard and mouse, which sets me at 2965 (FPS thing not included.)
I've heard alienware was best quality
Ahahahahahahahaha hahahaha haha ha NO. Alienware desktops / all prebuilts are a ridiculous waste of money - you are FAR better off building it yourself.
My build greatly surpasses the alienware in graphics and RAM for less money.

Oh what a troll
Eh, I don't really care, probably going to get it anyway, can't wait to see how its like in game :D
Every time someone buys an alienware, God kills 100 small, adorable kittens. Those 100 kittens could be used to help stop global warming. Think before you Alienware.
I've seen one in real life, its FPS is over 120 in fucking DirT 2, it is crazy,
just let him buy it... it's not like he is going to listen to anything we say to him anyways.
Build one of the same specs for much less. Then you'll get that 120fps in DirT without wasting your money.
Hah really now?
Global warming is fake
Global warming is fake
Not really
obama is a nazi 9/11 was an inside job more like it? y/n
2012 is real.
Hey! Ill build you an exact copy of the AW, even case and wire managment, for like 1/3 of the price. AW charges for service.
Please dont buy the alienware! DONT DO THIS TO YOURSELF!
