I'm looking for some new earphones for my iPod. My current ones fall out of my ears and sound terrible with the music I listen to. They were only $20AUD, so you get what you pay for.
I need earphones that fit in my ears; that's my major point. My ears apparently are fairly big. The default iPod earphones barely stayed in my ears.
Of course, I don't want square earbuds, but comfort isn't an issue, since I'm only using my iPod for 1 hour max.
I listen to industrial music, sometimes metal. So I need to be able to hear bass, although I don't want ridiculously loud, pumping crap. If you're interested, the bands are mainly KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson etc. I also love listening to my music quite loud. One more thing, I'd never use these for gaming.
I don't mind whether these are in-ear or normal earphones, but I believe in-earphones sound better? I don't mind either way. Any sort of headset or headphones I do not want.
My budget is roughly $60AUD [$54.33USD] but I'm sure I could go more if it's worth it. Basically, anything over $100AUD [$90.00USD] is ridiculously expensive. [Edit: I found some money, $100 is affordable]
Does anyone have or know of any earphones that fit the bill, or are worth mentioning? I've never had any decent earphones in my life, and my friends don't listen to the music I do and they deal with default iPod earphones.
Thanks.

I have them. Decent bass (by my standards), interchangeable form, noise canceling and sound isolating.

I did read that, but the majority of that is towards headsets/headphones. And for computers, not iPods.
If you don't mind an $80 price tag I would strongly recommend Senheisser CX earbuds for your absolute best listening experience with earbuds.
If you want full size headphones, well lets just say I would spend hours on a post of that magnitude (and $100s).
Skullcandy earphones are the best :buddy:
I got these;-
http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/ink-d-red-white.html
They have lasted me ages, and have really good sound quality, they're cheap to compared to your pricing, and worth their price by far.
Also Skullcandy do a whole range of earphones, just look around their site.
I've heard a lot of bad things about Skull Candy. And most people I see wearing them are faggots with too much hair gel and pretend they are cool by buying expensive shit from City Beach and surfing/skateboarding.
I don't use hair gel :saddowns:
Or buy that stuff due to me living in England. :buddy:
They are really good earphones though, with great quality sound, I think they look pretty good too.

No, Skull candy is as bad as Bose. Over priced and not worth it. I had the same set of headphones then I got my creative ones and I'm never going back.

good luck finding these in aus
I got myself BEATS by DRE Dre/Monster for £40 off ebay... they are by far the best thing I have ever bought. The bass is absolutely orgasmic. Whack on a nice bit of Dubstep/Triphop or anything with a bit of bass and you'll realise paying that little bit more will not go unnoticed.
Beats RRP is £119 from iTunes.. £40 is a steal.

Plus they're tangle-free, which is amazingggggggggggggg
Sony makes good earphones.
I recommend the Sennheiser CXs as well, I use them when I'm "out and about" listening to stuff, but otherwise when I'm at home or if I'm DJing I use Sennheiser HD448's.

Obviously I'm not going to be buying the ER-6i, but it's just good to know these things. Also, is the E2g worth that much?
wow au overprice
anyways, just get the metro 150s I guess
don't owrry about the e2g if it doesn't fit your budget
I'm now able to spend $100 fairly easily because I found some money lying around. Is the e2g a good choice?

Did you just try to do a capital one?
V-moda vibes, great sound clarity they look awesome they're cheap as fuck if you get them refurbished. I have a set and since their aluminum they are more durable than most earbuds but still light weight.
Brand new they are 100$ but I picked up a refurbished pair for 28$ with shipping <3 amazon.

And for you audiophiles they use a neodymium magnet so you can ensure good bass response.

Skullcandy is the biggest gimmick ever, they are so overpriced. I've had FIVE Skullcandy Ink'Ds, and they all lasted from 2 weeks to 5 months. The wire gets broken and besides, they have HORRIBLE sound quality compared to other earphones of the same, even cheaper price range. I'd say stay away from Skullcandy and Bose, and all other kinds of expensive gimmicky shit. If you really want to spend 100 dollars on in-earphones, then I shall suggest you the Monster Turbines. You will be satisfied in every possible way.

Well I forgot to mention I wanted something that looked flashy, I own a pair of skullcandy lowriders that I bought like 3 years ago before they were cool, so the vibes were perfect, but choose what you want. On that website you linked they are talking about the new generation (vibe II) I only own the first generation so I have no idea how the second generation vibes are but I did extensive reserch before buying the vibes and just about every website said they were worth the money.
