Damn, you got me
No, not another awesome game. I already had to take a mortgage on my house for the Steam sales.
Cakebread is an amazing wirter.
Also the whole team behind this is great, especially Gran PC.

Or not
The HD remake won't be.
Wait, is it getting a standalone release to be bought, like Dear Esther or something?

thanks I will now go and bugger granpc for his stanley parable-related secrets
He held a gun to baby seals to make me say that btw.
shhhhhhh
Modding is serious business.
Wait gran pc worked a bit on stanley parable?
The mods on this site never cease to amaze me in how Awesome they are, can't wait for this
I'm working on the remake.
Oh god, more of an incentive for me to buy it then. Still, it must be really hard to remake a amazing mod and fix all the tiny problems, cheers to you.
The HD remake won't be.
I'd buy it.
It'll be on the Steam store
How much will it be? Surely no more than 10 dollars.
A lot of people from FP work on the remake, it was also FP who pushed the mod over the edge.

that's true, i was one of the first to defend it from the people who called it crap because you didn't shoot anyone in it.
so yeah you're welcome!
I was one of the first people to ever play it, at first it was hard to convince people to play it with those shitty looking screenshots making it look bad, but after a day or so, people gave it a shot and it spread all over the web.
so THATS why gran was playing stanley parable alpha all the damn time
To be honest that game really creeped me out.
Eh, I loved Dear Esther, I enjoyed the Stanley Parable and he seems to have thrown in considerable effort in improving it so I'll buy it.
I played the mod for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the writing but the game was too short (although the several endings made up for that).

I'll definitely buy the HD Remake if it's 10$ or less

I'm willing to go up to $20.
I shouldn't have told Cakebread that I would pay a hundred if it's good and long .
I loved the first one so much that I made a shoddy animation a while back:

If the stanley parable costs money, then I'm bloody well paying for it, it's amazing.
