The ROG Swift PG348Q is a G-Sync compatible 144Hz IPS panel, as you'd expect from the company's flagship monitor. It's an ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio housing a 3440X1440 resolution.

Still, it's no slouch. A 5ms response time is pretty lightning for an IPS panel, and though this particular model doesn't occupy the 144Hz (and beyond through 'overclocking) refresh rates of its stablemates in the Asus ROG range, the 100Hz on offer should do just fine.
So which one is it? 100 or 144?
Getting closer to what I want.
4K 144Hz when?

The official site and press release says 100.

It's 100Hz according to Asus's website.
If you want a bang for your buck ultrawide monitor, i'd recommend the samsung s34e790c. It's by no means cheap, though.
I'm looking for a 1440p and 144Hz monitor. I was thinking of getting the ROG PG278Q but there seems to be a lot of reports about bad QA. Some people say it's great while others say they had to RMA a number of times due to poor quality.
1440p ultra wides are pricey as shit. I WISH it was a luxury I could enjoy.
personally I want a 2160p ultrawide, but that will take a lot of time before that happens.
2160p UW to replace 2 screens is absolutely what I want. Best case scenario is that + a PiP/PBP feature so I can use it as 'two' if needed.

Try looking at some BenQ models. Pretty sure they have a good one out there.
