I was recently out shopping and i noticed that Skittles were on sale incredibly cheap so on impulse i brought 5 kilos. I've eaten about half of them in 3 weeks and i am regretting the decision.
So what i want is for everybody to post an incident they've had where they brought something on impulse and regretted it later on.

Not me but a couple classmates came back with kids trousers after going for some food in the town center. "50 cents each, couldn't leave it there".
We ended up converting it to kids hot pants because they fit noone.

Fallout 3. I had never heard anything about it before and I was at Gamestop, saw it there, bought it, and it's one of the best games I've ever played. Obviously I didn't regret it, but it was the only thing I've bought on impulse recently. Don't make many purchases when you don't have much cash.

my friend said fall out 3 was relased this morning. i just went and bought it. never did that before and never did that agin.

I impulse buy alot of the steam sale items, if it's quite cheap. Any game that is below the 'Can't be robbed for a fiver' level I'll buy. (Game + Sale + <£5 = I buy it)

Last week I bought an Xbox 360 Arcade on impulse :)
In my own defense though it only cost $160
Whenever I am out and stop by the Walgreens nearby to pick my mother up a pack of cigarettes, I usually end up leaving with 3-6 theater style boxes of candy(including a box of Junior Mints for ma) and/or a decent sized bag of shelled sunflower seeds.
3 for $3 on the candy isn't a bad deal, and $2 gets ya quite a lot of sunflower seeds.
I don't really impulsively buy things. I get the urge to want to, and don't.. end up thinking about it for a few days and then decide it was probably for the best because all my monies going towards uni.

When I see an interesting game thats under $10, I buy it. The only one I got (not on Steam) that was decent was TimeShift.
