Recently, I had this weird virus acting like anti virus software. So I shut the computer off, ran it in safe mode with internet and ran ad-aware. It found the virus and deleted it so I shut the computer down again and now I can't open exe files normally. (I'm still wondering how Fire fox is working.) When ever I try to open my display settings for instance, A window pops up and says:
Choose the program you want to use to open this file:
control.exe
Then it shows a list of programs. Anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it?
