Would you lot suggest upgrading to 1066hz memory? Is it a lot faster? Will I be able to overclock any more? And what is the best value for money. I've been looking on ebuyer and I found this: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/159196
get either 800 or 1066
If you're thinking about getting 800Mhz or 1066Mhz, then get the 1066Mhz but if you already have 800Mhz and are thinking about upgrading to 1066Mhz, then don't bother, you won't notice much of a difference.
It's either 400 or 533 mhz really.
True, but thanks to the nice guys at "10<20" department usually the biggest number you can imagine is written, same with DDR3.
Sorry I wasn't clear. I have 800mhz, is it worth getting 1066?
nope, stick with what you got
What's the difference between 800 and 1066?
266
In terms of performance, essentially none. The lower timings that 800MHz RAM usually has would even out the speed advantage anyways, I'd imagine.
