Android phone forgets application defaults on reboot

I have a HTC Desire with CyanogenMod 7.0.3. I installed Launcherpro to use as my default Launcher, and I installed Opera Mobile to use as my default browser. I ticked the option to use them as default, however when I turn my phone off and turn it back on again, my phone loads with the normal launcher and when I press the home button it asks me what launcher I want to pick again. And when I click a link in another application it uses the default browser.

Any help would be appreciated. If no one can find an answer I'll just leave my phone on

You should ask this in the XDA-developers forum.
I can recommend backing everything up with Titanium Backup and just reflashing.
