Hey, i use HWMonitor to monitor my temps and i noticed that my tmpin0 temp becomes snoop dogg when i play games
my TMPIN0 can reach 69/70 celsius when i play heavy games like GTA V/MGSV etc
How high should the TMPIN0 temp get?
Screenshot:
Im currently playing CIV5 so this is not my idle temp

/Thanks
literally fine, that's average temperature under load
So i dont have to worry at all when it reaches 70c?

not at all really, according to the 970 specifications its maximum (safe, i presume) temperature is 98c

edit:nvm i misread the screenshot

Thats his motherboard. Its not a GTX970, its an AMD970 chipset :v:
And depending on what TEMPIN0 is, its probably fine for the most part. Make sure your VRM, and any heatsinks on the board are free of dust.

Im talking about my CPU/Motherboard(TMPIN0-1-2-3)
Not my GPU

Does your board have any information on what sensor tempin0 is? If I had to guess it'll be either socket, vrm or chipset. The best thing to do is ensure the VRM (large bank of caps and MOSFETs (may be a heatsink as well. I haven't checked up on your board)to the left of the CPU) and chipset (heatsink just south of the CPU) are free of any dust. Both those are passively cooled and they do require some cleaning from time to time.
Your CPU is running at a healthy temp so I wouldn't worry too much about the CPUs cooling system. But while you're in there give it a clean too.
Still low enough, my i5 3570k goes up to 90C under high load (4.3ghz clock)
As said I'd recommend looking up your board and seeing where it's sensors are placed but really it shouldn't be a worry, your board will literally tell you if it's overheating as it'll automatically issue a thermal shutdown, basically your PC will turn off and it'll print this notice on either boot or when you open the BIOS depending on the board.
Other than that, nothing to really worry about, maybe dust off the board but other than that it's nothing bad, most board components will only start to flag at around 85c and depending on the board, thermal shutdown will happen around 90c which will only happen with a case of no heatsinks or virtually no airflow in the case causing hot air to not be exhausted.
Basically, its nothing to worry about.

I really hope you have EIST enabled or something, because 90c is a dangerious temp to hang out at. You'll sooner or later degrade the paste from the chip to the lid. And thats not easily servicable.
Consider reviewing your cooling system to see if its suffecient for your generious overclock.
I have an MSI 870 on this system, my sensor data goes down as Main,CPU,VRM. If our sensordata is similar, you'll need to look at your systems chipset heatsink. 70c isn't dangerous, but its not okay either.
I dont think your CPU is a problem since you got a package reading of 50c, TempIN 0 is at 65c. 15c is a considerable jump if we're talking CPU/Socket temps. If there is a jump that high consider repasting and ensuring your heatsink/water block are fastened to the socket properly.
Chipsets usually just have a heatsink to them, so blow out the dust in its fins. If its already clean, then disregard temp readings and its probably fine.
Thanks for all the replies guys, This is a great community
I'm not paranoid anymore
I can play games in peace now
For most things unless it's something special with the CPU, it's usually fine until you get to 85c+

Basically, just go buy a can of compressed air from some electronics shop and blast it into your case a couple times. Do this semi-regularly (you don't need to use the whole can each time, that would get expensive)
