1. Func_Vehicle 2. It'd be nice if we had maps that could run multiple modes instead of restricted to Defusal/Hostage/Demo/GunGame.
Server Report panel
Holy shit, I wish this was in TF2. Even after all the countermeasures Valve has taken, there are still tons of servers faking playercount and masking bots as players.
Changed holiday cheer level to match CS1.6
Heh.
1. Func_Vehicle 2. Customizable team sizes (lets say 31 cts and 1 T)- This one is most likely still possible, but in 1.6 I am sure you could force this so the server didnt need to change team balance shit, but I might be wrong. 2. Turrets like in Goldsrc, Rocket, Laser, Gun, and Mortar. 3. Escape mode(which you could do because of VIP) 4. A map that had 1 T shooting a rocket turret at 31 cts running across a field to escape. 5. Func_vehicle so you could attach turrets to the cars. 6. Removing weapon zones, and adding weapon zones(this was in 1.6) 7. Custom ammo amounts, having lets say a mapper wanted all deagles to have 1 bullet. 8. More fun shit for mappers and more control over everything. CS:GO needs a lot of things to get the fun back that was in CS 1.6 custom maps, but none of these things will ever happen so it doesnt matter. Valve will never do this, until the end of time.

Obligatory.
Obligatory.
It will be in every cs go thread until valves puts it in
How many servers do you get in the browser? I only get 300 odd and there was at least 1000 odd when the game was released

I still play CS:S and 1.6 more than CS:GO
How about fixing shitty 64 tick matchmaking servers.
How about you make a "create new game" button? Me and 5 friends played some CSGO on a LAN a few days ago and we had to use the fucking console to start a lan game with a custom map, not only that but we had to redo it every 10 rounds or so or it would change to CS_Italy.
changelevel also mapcycle.txt in csgo/csgo folder you could also make a bat file that starts a listen server automatically. steam.exe -applaunch (740 for csgo i think) +map de_dust +sv_lan 0 +sv_password ...
Still shouldn't be necessary.
I just dont think Valve understands what made 1.6 so long lasting and good. It was the fun custom maps, NOT the competitive shit. This is the same reason why games like Starcraft and Warcraft lasted so long, because of fun custom maps. CS:GO already has less people than CSS and 1.6 and its going to stay that way until Valve figures out people want fun custom maps. They went backwards instead of forwards when it came to custom map making, each CS got more locked down and less features. CS:GO is a mess and goes to show how little Valve knows about CS or even gives a fuck about it.
I wish I could find the article, but the lead designer working on CS:GO, months before release noted that CS:GO isn't meant to be a sequel, rather a mix up of what the pro community want, focusing more on the competitive nature. paraphrasing obviously because I can't remember the exact quote, but it's the same message.
I remember them constantly saying they wanted to bring the 1.6 and CSS communitys to 1 game. and focusing on the Competitive community is a wrong choice since its not what makes up the majority of CS. Also they didnt really listen to the 1.6 pros at all, thats why are not switching and the ones that do are pretty much being forced because of sponsor changes to CS:GO. I was in the beta since Day 1 and giving feedback with pros, Valve really did not listen and A lot of 1.6 pros in the beta were calling them out because Valve said they had 1.6 pros and CSS pros who would visit them and give feedback and shitloads said they ignored most of the 1.6 players concerns. This shit was then buried when Valve opened up the beta to everyone and there moms and people forgot and then giving legit feedback was buried even more by mindless fanboys who thought Valve could do no wrong.
