Hello Facepunch! I have this Mother board! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813188051 and I'm getting 2 of these cards! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814143185 I plan on using SLI to sync those 2 video cards together, Do I need to buy a bridging component, or does it Automatically sync them together for me? And if I do need a component, can someone link me to where I might get one? Thank you! And no, please don't try and suggest for me to buy different Video cards, just help me with my problem
Usually it comes with a SLI bridge. But why the 9800Gts?
Will explain in a sec, I have another question. I'm getting an Intel i5 2.66 GHZ CPU Processor, and I need a fan for it, Would this be the best heatsink to get? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233032
buying 2 9800s for SLI is a waste of money OP. For SLI: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_learn_howtoguide.html
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.310962 get that, free PSU+5850
Yea 2 9800's are a waste of money. But for a CPU cooler I would get this. It is a great cooler. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134 Or this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065
single 5850 outperforms it for the same price OP.
5850 would BLOW away 2 9800s for the same price and save space, go for'et OP.
Or this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065
This.
