I noticed there's a profile feature that allows you to post your Steam ID that takes people to your profile, but I'm confused about it.
I put my Steam 64 bit ID; 76561198054274314
It doesn't wok.
I tried my Steam 32 bit ID; STEAM_0:0:47004293
It doesn't wok.
Why it no wok?
I know I'm probably asking a really stupid and simple question, but it needed to be asked.
It's 76561198054274314 alright, but your profile is set to private.

No wait, nevermind, i went for /profile/ rather than /id/
Set a custom profile id and use that.
I don't really want to use a custom ID, any other ways?
I'll use mine as an example, its http://steamcommunity.com/id/424v3234v234v52345v2345v
so basically I would paste this 424v3234v234v52345v2345v
I bashed keys rather than using id
additionally
http://steamrep.com/
see more ID's there
mine would be for example

try this
76561198054274314
but don't add SteamID:% infront of it, only that. You seem to have mixed your steam id(32 bit) with your 64 bit ID, meaning you had steam;id; and then the 64 bit. They are two different ID's, one has steam;id; (32 bit) the other is just a bunch of numbers (64 bit)
as for privacy of an account; that doesn't matter, don't worry.
