If you go on the reddit links it says one of the demands from Riot was to remove account selling and elo boosting links
I honestly think riot has way to much control, i remember the talk about streamers not being able to stream ANY other MOBA and almost no other games period.
how do you just ban a sponsor for some of your biggest teams and players and not even care
It doesn't even impact g2a though, it hurts their players more than anything. If g2a was prepared to dump millions into lol esports then they aren't really strapped for cash, they can still sponsor streamers who arent on teams so this doesnt even bother them that much but now you have like 5 teams down a sponsor
