Hey guys, I'm looking to build my first gaming pc. Few things you should know about it: * My moniter will be my HDTV, so I'll need a vga connector. I don't have the room for a monitor unfortunately. * I'd like Windows 7 on it. * By "gaming pc", this will be me actually starting to play computer games on the PC, which I've not done before. So I don't mind not having the best graphics if it means I save a decent amount of money. * I need a wireless keyboard and mouse (or ones with a longish wire). I don't have a table so will have to use it on my bed >_> so if theres' some sort of mouse pointer that's good I'll have one of those.. I will be using a controller for gaming itself. * I'd like to spend less than £500 if possible. * As you can tell, I live in the UK, so if you can use a UK computer site/store that'd be useful, or if anyone from the UK knows what the tax is like and can post that'd be awesome. * Oh, and a pretty case would be nice, but not important :) Thanks to anyone who replies :)
Nudging this in case anyone can help.
If you're planning on using a controller for gaming, just get a console, or you'll get your arse handed to you every time. Honestly.
I have all 3 current gen consoles, I just want to try the pc world because the community's supposed to be good, and I have a few friends on Steam.
£10 Under budget but I haven't included the mouse and keyboard From www.ebuyer.com
How did you find a 5770 for that price? usually they're at least $150.
