I have a canon mp270 and I've been trying to scan stuff but whenever I press the scan button the led screen random parts of the led matrix thing start lighting up in a rotating pattern (hard to explain, not as dramatic as it sounds) and the printer doesn't start scanning.
Printing works fine, and there isn't any visible damage to the printer. There's no jams or anything, so what's the problem?
