Being in a band is there a tool/instrument to play samples instead of a computer and by samples I mean audio clips from movies and such
What

save it to an mp3 player, so you don't have to lug a computer around.
it's called a sampler
or like i said, mp3 player. most people have one and i've seen plenty of bands do it.
yeah I tried that but how to you make the sound come out loud enough out of mp3. amp? speakers?
depends on set-up, really easy if you have a p.a. and a mixer. Hard to answer without knowing how you do it.
I know you don't want to use a laptop, but you can get a bit of kit called a Korg pad kontrol which plays samples.
you'll need some form of amplification, coming from an ipod/sampler/keyboard/laptop A small mix table could do [editline]12:13AM[/editline] Or a guitar/bass amp
Put audio clip on your MP3 player, take the earbuds, place them on the pickups of the bass/guitar, and play it through the amp. Turn off all distortion and filters though or else it will sound fucked up.

You can use what Rad Mccool suggested, but I use my laptop seeing as how it's quite mobile.
