• No signal to monitor with 6950

Alright, so I have been tirelessly trying to fix this damn thing for about a day. I installed a new i5 3570k, z77 Pro 3 motherboard and RAM. Onboard video works. If I use the onboard video and go to the desktop with my GPU plugged in, it even shows up in the device manager as the proper AMD HD 6900 Series. However, as soon as I go to the BIOS and tell the motherboard to use my 6950 as the main graphics card, I get no signal. I have reseated the card about five times right now. I'm worried I damaged it, though there is no visible damage. I recently installed a heatsink on it, but it was working fine until I upgraded. I plugged in an old 4870 1 GB and it worked fine. I'm really scared my GPU is damaged, because I just dropped money on it for a heatsink. Any other suggestions?
Are you plugging the video cable into the ports on the graphics card?
Are you plugging the video cable into the ports on the graphics card?
He already tried that, which isn't working for him. but if you got the graphics card, could the ports me damaged? could there be hardware conflict? Also if you got a new motherboard, check to see if BIOS is setting the GPU to the default display under PCI-E instead of the built in? Sometimes the bios will be ok with one, but when you add another GPU it will reset the settings.
