• How much food goes to waste in your house in a month?

I'm so sorry to be reposting a thread from yesterday but the poll choices were shit and we need better data. Most of you hopefully didn't even see the one yesterday so I hope it's not too much of a bother. I just need some statistics for my group project in engineering class. We chose $50 increments last time and that was dumb. So yeah just use your best estimate, and thanks for voting. God damn I wish I could set up the poll before posting the thread. Thanks first 2 posters for the responses, but what I really need are votes. Of course please keep it bumped if you have something to say, the bigger the sample size the better.
At least 100.
10$ or so. Because I only have a $170-$200 budget a month for food.
It's hard to say, but I'll estimate around 31-40 since most of it just ends up going bad rather than us throwing it away.
Gonna bump this once before I go to bed, could still use more votes, and of course thank you to those of you who have already voted.
probably between 11-20, counting yoghurts that rots unnoticed and stuff like that.
I personally have no food waste because I get my food on campus and only get what I will eat. Back home we really dont have much waste either. My family tends to eat any leftovers for lunch the next day and most food that is not eaten is composted (Excluding meat).
Thanks for all the posts and votes, hopefully this'll be the last time I have to bump it. If I get 50 votes my teacher wont be able to complain if he even bothers to check for legitimacy.
Almost none, since I plan what I will make for the week, and only buy what is necessary.
