Yeah, missions have never really had a bearing on how long it is. The Ark mission in Halo 3 was so fucking long, it had so many different parts to it.
ODST's campaign was short?... I remember it being longer than usual, maybe because it was a little harder than the average Halo.
No, the claim is a single season of Spartan Ops is longer than ODST. Lybertyboy is David Ellis of 343i, lead Spartan Ops Designer. lol most people that I know hated ODST. I loved it though

ODST was pretty solid but it wasn't as good as the rest of the Halo games. Something about that open world city thing kind of killed it for me, and I didn't like playing as all the other characters in those 'flashback' moments.
lol most people that I know hated ODST. I loved it though
It shouldn't have been 50 dollars. It wasn't a full game, it was an expansion that they priced as a game. Other than that it was fine.
I loved ODST personally. Got it for $20 so that may have influenced my appreciation, but the campaign was fantastic.

But it was a full game, it including the complete Halo 3 MP package.

i wonder if this one will play differently than halo 1 but in all likelihood im getting the same game with new visuals like always
i wonder if this one will play differently than halo 1 but in all likelihood im getting the same game with new visuals like always
It's pretty obvious you've never played a halo game so you should get right on that, might sort out your opinions a bit.
lol most people that I know hated ODST. I loved it though
Most people I know didn't hate it. They just hated that Bungie or Microsoft or whoever charged full-price for what was not a full game. If you got it for a good price it was worth it because it was still pretty fun. Can't say it was as memorable to me as the other Halo campaigns though.
It all started with an Achievement list that showed the campaign consists of eight missions. Some fans worried this might mean the game is too short.
didn't halo 1 have like 10 missions
didn't halo 1 have like 10 missions
they were long as shit though, halo 2 had the largest campaign mission wise iirc, with like 14 missions that were decently sized but yeah 8 is a bit underwhelming, but hell it's halo, im sure they'll make it great.

The music in ODST and the atmosphere was incredible as least for me anyway.
The music in ODST and the atmosphere was incredible as least for me anyway.
ODST was simply a great Halo title, with an awesome cast! It was the first Halo title that involved heavy character interactions and personalities. It stayed true to the core gameplay of Halo and give us a perspective we haven't seen before in the Halo universe. It was a test to see how players feel about the heavy character interaction, and it passed. And it was implemented in Halo Reach and continues in Halo 4.
ODST was a good game, the first time I played it I hated it, but after a while it grew on me, my feeling are still mixed about it. It was a well made game nevertheless. I only paid about £8 for it, so I can understand why people who paid a lot for it weren't pleased

Man, this looks really awesome. If only I had an XBox though, and I sure as hell don't have the cash for live :v:. Oh well, I hope my friend gets this so I can mooch off of him like I did H3.
i wonder if this one will play differently than halo 1 but in all likelihood im getting the same game with new visuals like always
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about if you actually think Halo's just been repackaged like CoD.
i wonder if this one will play differently than halo 1 but in all likelihood im getting the same game with new visuals like always
lul halo sux and is soo overrated trash and it's the same game over again xDDDDDD!!!1111
I believe Frankie from 343 said it would take 10-15 hours to Beat Halo 4's Campaign, longer if you're doing legendary.
There was never a time frame on how long it takes to beat yet. Only this. "An enhancement to the game is a much longer campaign than the traditional length of most Halo campaigns. The average length of a Halo campaign is about 8 to 10 hours, more if the difficulty is set to Heroic or Legendary" -Frank O'Connor E3 2012. And the campaign is "Halo sized"
