• Pc keeps freezing (new Ram)

Hey guys, I have a problem with ram at the moment. My pc occasionally freezes since i installed new ram into my pc: My old ram: OCZ 2x1 gig of ddr2 6400 at 800 mhz 4-4-4-12 timing (also dual channel) My new ram: Geil 2x2 gig of ddr 2 6400 at 800 mhz 5-5-5-15 timing "Black dragon gameing ram dual channel" When the crashes occur i get a screen that mostly takes over the dominating color at that moment, so for example, if i was looking at a blue white and red screen and a lot of the screen was red the whole screen turns red and the pc freezes, Which leaves me pissed and restarting all the time. My old ram ran great in combination with my pc and i never had these kind of crashes. What i tried: -Manually configering the bios to adjust the timings -Adjust memmory voltage to the correct value. -Memtesting my memory to check for faulty hardware ( no error at all ) Some more specs: MB: Asus p5q-se Proc: E7500 2.93 duo core vid: ATI 5770 I hope you guys can help me out because i'm so sad that it won't work correctly :(
Have you tried reinstalling your old RAM to rule out the possibility of your video card being faulty? This sort of makes me think it's a video card issue:
When the crashes occur i get a screen that mostly takes over the dominating color at that moment, so for example, if i was looking at a blue white and red screen and a lot of the screen was red the whole screen turns red and the pc freezes, Which leaves me pissed and restarting all the time. I'm like 99% sure that it's the ram because it started since i installed the new ram modules, My videocard is 2 weeks old and worked perfect before all this started. Sorry for my English btw, I'm not a native speaker ;)
Well it would be smart to rule it out through troubleshooting. :)
If you are talking about following the company's tutorials and the products manuals, I already did :(

It does not show up when i use my old ram.
It does not show up when i use my old ram.
If it stops freezing when you're using your old ram, than I hope you kept the receipt for it. I'd just return it and get new ram. If it stops happening, problem solved. Edit: It wouldn't hurt to reinstall your card drivers either. Just in case it really is a coincidence. I don't often hear about faulty ram giving you any other screen but blue.
