So i am buying my iPad 2 in about 5-10 minutes in the store but i my dad wants to use it for watching movies
I bought myself both Top Gear Black + White special edition and they both have the option to enable Dutch subtitles
So can i ripp the movie somehow with the subtitles on it? Or is there a app that you can enable / disable it?
Yes, Handbrake will allow you to rip with subtitles.
I used it a few times but it did not work
I am running iOS 5
Used Handbrake and selected the subtitle track from the DVD and press "add"
I selected "Default" in first try, then i tried Burned In and also tried Burned in + Forced Only
Any alternative ways?
iOS 4, then VLC.
Use Goodplayer, you can configure subtitles in the settings. Swipe up/down to turn them on/off.
Oh, and I'm on 4.3.3 atm, but its a normal store app so I don't think the iOS will make much difference.
I downloaded PlayerX for free and unlocked Subtitles for 0,80 eurocents
Great app..
