Ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt on boot. Please read.

Guys, I couldnt turn My PC on because of this message. However after several attempts of reconnecting the power cable it magically worked.
Ntoskrnl.exe is missing on boot, thats the exact error. It happened on my old hard drive, and now it happens on my new one. How to solve this crazy shit?

You can just repair with a install disk. Did that and it worked for me.

Yeah, but why did this happen?
was it a coicidence? It happened every single day to my old hard drive until it died and started ticking, and now 2 days after i put in my new one it still happens?

arcicpenguin mate, the problem is that actually it used to happen with me EVERY SINGLE DAY and I did that repair thing with the vista CD. stopped working and my hard drive went nuts
