Basically, it can last for up to 10 minutes, then my sound will loop the last second of sound there was rapidly and then freeze my computer all together, the only way to get it back on is to reset Pc... please help.
(This happend over night... was FINE for the past few days)
OK. I had this problem too. I can help you if you can actually get in to your desktop.
If you have a ton, and i seriously mean a TON of gmod stuff, it might be eating up all your RAM. I had the same problem, and i deleted all the content in my gmod file. MAKE SURE YOU READ A GOOGLE ARTICLE ON HOW TO DO THIS FIRST!!!!!!!! afterwards, my computer works fine. If you get an option when you turn the computer on to "Enter Safe Mode" take it, and then do your best to access a browser, clean your gmod, and hope for the best.
Sorry if this is useless, the "symptoms" sound similar to my old problem
Having lots of stuff for GMod will not cause your computer to lock up randomly...
